Bristol Cars was a luxury vehicle manufacturer residing in Bristol, England. The company was founded in 1945 as the Bristol Aeroplane Company. The company later become the Bristol Cars Limited. A producer of low volume models, sold its models via one dealership in London. The models originally used BMW derived engines until 1961 when they switched to Chrysler V8 engines.
