Stoke Bruerne is a village in Northamptonshire seven miles south of the Northampton town centre. The Grand Union Canal runs through the village providing public footpath walks and a Canal Musuem. Two public houses reside, “The Navigation” and “The Boat Inn“. Amenities and facilities include a restaurant/takeaway, tea rooms and B&B’s. The village brings in many visitors and tourists to the canal, lock and amenities. To the north of the village is the south portal of The Blisworth Tunnel. Neighbouring villages includes Shutlanger, Ashton and Roade.
