Vintage & Retro

Domestic photographs of yesteryear were generally taken with cameras with a resolution by today’s standards are of a much lower quality.  Apart from the cost prohibitive professional equipment available (unless you was a professional photographer), many people used the 110 or 126 pocket camera type and films. Polaroid cameras provided  another format, but the photographs instantly generated were of a smaller size. Users of the 35mm format (type 135) captured a higher resolution and some users had their films processed onto 35mm slides which offered a higher resolution and could be displayed with a projector and screen. Interesting photographs that have become available to us have been digitized and added to this collection.
