Jensen Motors Limited was a British manufacturer of mainly sports cars based in the West Midlands. The Jensen name was the surname of the founding brothers, Alan and Richard. The company initially ceased trading in 1976. Trading commenced again in 1998, but the company was eventually wound up in 2011.
The Jensen Interceptor was a GT Coupe launched in 1966. The Mark II came in 1969, and Mark III in 1971. All models housed a V8 (variants of 5.9L, 6.3L and 7.2L depending on the year). Production ceased in 1976. A four wheel drive version, the FF (Ferguson Formula) was also available for each Mark of model in limited quantities.
