Towcester

Towcester is a market town in Northamptonshire ten miles south-west of the Northampton town centre. Known as the oldest town in the county due to in the Roman times, Watling Street (A5) was built and the town was originally called Lactodurum.  Towcester has good selection of independent shops and hosts an active racecourse. Good road links, the A5 and A43 provide east access to the town.
