Hardingstone is a Northamptonshire village approximately one mile south of the Northampton town centre and easily accessible from the A45 and neighbouring Wootton. Amenities include a local shop,  small supermarket, post office, hairdressers, small car dealership,  garage workshop and an animal/pet supplies business. Two public houses – “The Sun” and “The Crown” are open for business. The “Parish Church of St. Edmund” serves the community. The Brackmills business park is accessible within walking distance of the village. Just on the outskirt of the village, lies one of a remaining Queen Eleanor Cross.
