The Delorean Motor Company famously known for its DMC-12 gull wing sports car. Founded in 1975. The DMC-12 was produced on 1981 and 1982 before the company went bankrupt. Approximately 9000 examples of this model were produced.
The DMC 12 model starred in the ‘Back to the Future’ film trilogy (1985-1990) as a time machine to transport to other times in the past and future. Ironically this vehicle became famous years after the company was closed.
