The Karmann Ghia was a 2+2 sports car by Volkswagen. Available as a coupe (1955-74) and a convertible (1957-74). Known as a Type 14. Based on the chassis and mechanical set-up on the Beetle, with the body styling by the House of Ghia. Engine variants included a 1200cc, 1300cc, 1500cc or 1600cc flat four design.
