Chapel Brampton is a village in west Northamptonshire neighbouring another village Church Brampton. Together, they are known as “The Bramptons.” Popular public houses – “The Spencer Ams” – which was formerly a coaching inn and “The Brampton Halt” – which was part of a former railway station reside in the village. The Northampton and Lamport Railway based at Brampton station is local to the village. Similar to Church Brampton, the village is home to ten Althorp Estate cottages.
