Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the UK. Located in Scotland in the highland region of Lochaber, it has become a popular tourist attraction with approximately 130,000 climbs a year. Its nearby town Fort William is a major tourist centre, which can compliment a climb with a celebration drink in its choice of public houses. The town is easily accessible with an established road network and railway station.
